Alcarex Eye Drop contains Alcaftadine 0.25% w/v, an antihistamine used to relieve itching and redness caused by allergic conjunctivitis. It works by blocking histamine receptors in the eyes, providing fast and effective relief from allergy symptoms.
Instill one drop of Alcarex Eye Drop into the affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in the morning or as directed by your healthcare provider. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to prevent contamination.
The usual dose is one drop in each affected eye once daily. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Possible side effects include mild eye irritation, burning sensation, dryness, or blurred vision shortly after application. These effects are generally transient. If you experience severe reactions such as swelling or rash, discontinue use and seek medical attention.
