Asthalin 100 mcg Inhaler contains Salbutamol, a fast-acting bronchodilator used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness. As a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (SABA), it works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, allowing them to open up and make breathing easier. This inhaler provides quick relief during acute episodes and is not intended for long-term control of asthma or COPD.

How to Use
  • Shake the inhaler well before each use.
  • Breathe out fully, away from the inhaler.
  • Place the mouthpiece between your lips and close your lips around it.
  • While breathing in deeply and slowly through your mouth, press down on the inhaler to release a dose of medication.
  • Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
  • If a second puff is prescribed, wait about 30 seconds before repeating the process.
  • After use, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out to help prevent oral thrush.
Dosage Information
  • Relief of acute symptoms: 1 to 2 puffs as needed.
  • Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm: 2 puffs 10–15 minutes before exercise.
  • Maximum dose: Do not exceed 8 puffs in 24 hours.
  • If you find yourself needing the inhaler more frequently, consult your healthcare provider as this may indicate worsening control of your asthma or COPD.
