Azopt Eye Drop contains Brinzolamide, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in conditions such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humor, helping to prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss.
Instill one drop of Azopt Eye Drop into the affected eye(s) two to three times daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination.
The typical dose is one drop in each affected eye two to three times daily. Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.
Common side effects may include a bitter taste, blurred vision, eye discomfort, burning or stinging sensation, and redness. If you experience severe eye pain, vision changes, or signs of allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention.
