Bambudil 10 mg Tablets contain Bambuterol Hydrochloride, a long-acting beta-2 adrenergic agonist (LABA) used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). As a prodrug, Bambuterol is metabolized into its active form, Terbutaline, which works by relaxing the muscles of the airways, thereby improving airflow and easing breathing. It is typically prescribed when inhalers are insufficient or unsuitable for the patient.
