Overview
Dacilon Injection contains Dactinomycin (Actinomycin D), a potent chemotherapy medication used to treat various types of cancer. It is primarily indicated in the treatment of Wilms' tumor, Ewing’s sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, and gestational trophoblastic neoplasia. Dactinomycin works by binding to DNA and inhibiting RNA synthesis, which interferes with cancer cell growth and replication. It is administered intravenously and is often part of combination chemotherapy protocols.
