Foracort Respules 0.5 mg is a combination medication containing Budesonide (500 mcg) and Formoterol (20 mcg) per 2 ml respule. It is used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This formulation helps reduce airway inflammation and relaxes bronchial muscles, facilitating easier breathing and reducing the frequency of exacerbations. It is not intended for the relief of acute bronchospasm.
