Overview
Nova-D Capsules DR are a combination medication containing Pregabalin and Duloxetine. This formulation is primarily used to manage neuropathic pain—a chronic pain condition resulting from nerve damage due to conditions like diabetes (diabetic neuropathy), fibromyalgia, spinal cord injuries, or shingles. Pregabalin helps in reducing nerve pain by modulating calcium channel activity in nerve cells, while Duloxetine, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help maintain mental balance and stop the movement of pain signals in the brain.
