Overview
Pradaxa Capsules contain Dabigatran Etexilate 110 mg, an oral anticoagulant that prevents blood clots by directly inhibiting thrombin, a critical enzyme in the clotting process. It is commonly prescribed to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, and to treat and prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). The 110 mg dose is often used for patients with certain risk factors or renal impairment.
