Overview

Rizatriptan 10 mg Tablets are prescribed for the acute treatment of migraine attacks, with or without aura. Belonging to the class of drugs known as triptans, Rizatriptan works by narrowing dilated blood vessels in the brain and reducing substances that trigger migraine pain and other symptoms such as nausea, sensitivity to light, and sound.

How to Use

Take one tablet as soon as migraine symptoms begin. Swallow it whole with water, with or without food. Do not take it in advance of a migraine (i.e., for prevention).

  • If the migraine returns, a second dose may be taken after at least 2 hours, but do not exceed 30 mg in 24 hours
